Frontline Supervision


Purpose 

Frontline Supervisors play an integral role in promoting successful practices for hiring, preparing and retaining quality Direct Support Professionals. High quality supervisors are positive, knowledgeable, dependable leaders that mentor and support direct support professionals to develop competency and provide person-centered community supports.

Training

The Boggs Center offers training for Frontline Supervisors grounded in the National Frontline Supervisor Competency set. Trainings address such topics as Hiring and Onboarding; Mentoring and Career Pathways; Effective Supervision; and Building Competent Behavior Support Teams.
