Field Placement Site

The Boggs Center serves as a field placement site for social work students with a particular interest in disabilities. As a non-clinical setting, The Boggs Center is an especially good fit for students concentrating on Management and Policy (MAP), though is able to able to accommodate clinical and advanced standing students through collaborations with University and community partners as well.

Current Issues in Developmental Disabilities Course

Current Issues in Developmental Disabilities is a graduate-level social work course in developmental disabilities taught by Boggs Center faculty. This course introduces masters-level students at Rutgers School of Social Work to important considerations in accommodating the needs of people with disabilities and their families across the lifespan and in education, health, and other community-based settings.
