New Jersey Partners in Policymaking Welcomes Inaugural Advanced Leadership Academy Class

The New Jersey Partners in Policymaking program, a collaboration between The Boggs Center, the New Jersey Council on Developmental Disabilities, and Disability Rights New Jersey, welcomed its first Advanced Leadership Academy class with an in-person session on September 13th and 14th in Princeton. Debuting this year, the Advanced Leadership Academy provides an opportunity for past NJ Partners graduates to enhance and build upon the learning from their previous Partners experience. Over the course of the next 8 months, participants, including 12 people with disabilities and 12 family members, will learn from national experts, engage in an array of leadership exercises and activities to engage others, and gain valuable skills for educating and collaborating with other advocates in New Jersey.
