Manuel Jimenez, MD, MS, FAAP, Associate Professor of Pediatrics & Family Medicine and Community Health at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and Director of Research at The Boggs Center, was honored with the 2024 Rutgers Health Distinguished Interprofessional Clinical Educator Award. Presented virtually at the first annual Rutgers Health Interprofessional Preceptor Appreciation Event on Thursday, January 18, 2024, the award recognizes Dr. Jimenez for his excellence in clinical teaching and spirit of interprofessionalism. Dr. Jimenez’s work focuses on promoting optimal developmental health for children and their families and making the health system responsive to their needs and has been supported by funding from the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development, the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality, the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, and others.
