Fall 2022 Developmental Disabilities Lecture Series Recordings and Handouts Available

This Fall, The Boggs Center welcomed nationally known speakers with expertise in their respective fields as part of the Developmental Disabilities Lecture Series. Four webinars were offered through the Series, a community and continuing education program for professionals, policymakers, people with disabilities, and families: Unlearning Ableism: How to be an Ally to People with Disabilities - Kara Ayers, PhD; Assessing Trauma in Individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities, Brian Tallant, LPC, NADD-CC; Developmental Disabilities and Sexuality: Effective Tips and Tools - Katherine McLaughlin, MEd; and Quality Meaningful Day Services: A Community-Based Approach - Abby Taylor George, MS.
