In this episode, Kelli Crane, PhD, Co-Director and Assistant Research Professor, and Makenzie Allison, MA, Faculty Specialist, from the University of Maryland Center for Transition and Career Innovation, share strategies to support seamless transitions from high school to competitive integrated employment for youth with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Listeners will learn about barriers in the school-to-work transition as well as practical methods to address misconceptions, foster interagency collaboration, and bridge the employment gap.
