In this episode, Susan Havercamp, PhD, Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health and Director of Health Promotion and Healthcare Parity at The Ohio State University Nisonger Center, discusses health and healthcare access for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Through a reframed definition of health, listeners will learn about the concept of healthcare access, major barriers experienced by people with I/DD, and solutions for improving care and health outcomes.
