Boggs Center Faculty, Staff, & Trainees Author an Article on Disability-Inclusive Public Health Curricula

Boggs Center faculty, staff, affiliated faculty, and NJLEND fellows authored a practice brief report published in the Journal of Public Health Management & Practice. Carrie Coffield, PhD, Associate Professor of Pediatrics at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, Co-Director of The Boggs Center and Director of NJLEND, and Melissa Cheplic, MPH, NADD-CC, Senior Training and Consultation Specialist, contributed to the article, “Guiding Principles From Designing Disability-Inclusive Public Health Curricula,” alongside affiliated NJLEND faculty John S. Palatucci, PhD, MPA, CPH, Patricia A. Findley, DrPH, MSW, and NJLEND alumni Colleen Roche, BS, Nila Uthirasamy, BS, and Naomi Cruz, BA. The report describes the development of disability-inclusive public health courses, which began as an NJLEND leadership project.
